Epsom School of MotoringWe are a friendly local Driving School, based in Langley Vale, Sutton and Bookham, teaching people to drive in the Epsom, Ewell, Sutton, Banstead, Leatherhead and Surrounding areas. If you live within a reasonable distance of us, We can teach you to drive ! Started in 2002, our aim is not just to get you through the test, but to look beyond and help to make each of our students competent and confident in any Weather, on any Road, and in any Traffic situation. To this end we tailor each course of instruction to each individual's requirements, and our instructors are all registered for "Pass Plus", to go beyond the driving test with further training designed not only to enhance your safety on the road, but which may also help to reduce the cost of your car insurance !

Epsom School of MotoringWhy Do We Do It ?After a Career in the Metroplitan Police, spent mainly on Traffic Patrol Duty, latterly as a Sergeant on the elite "Special Escort Group", Richard Boddy has a vast range of experience in both Car Driving and Motorcycling. He has achieved the coveted "Class One" standard in both driving and motorcycling, and has been further trained in Anti-Hijack Driving techniques and V.I.P. Protection. With a primary interest in Road Safety, he trained as a Driving Instructor on retirement from the Police service, in order that he could share the benefits of his experience in training young and new drivers, in a effort to raise the standards of safety on the roads. In 2005, when demand for training exceeded available Diary space, Richard was Joined by Samantha Stanley, and together they have built a reputation amongst Learners for patience, safety and a reasonable success rate in Passing the Test ! We enjoy driving, and we want you to enjoy it too, But it will only be enjoyable if it is done properly, so that's why we do what we do !

Epsom School of MotoringHow Will We Do It ?In the course your training we hope to demonstrate that the art of driving can be enjoyable when practised correctly. We will pass on to you, by demonstration and instruction, the principles of good car control, so that you will be safe, courteous and confident to maintain a high standard of driving on any road, in any weather. We will teach you to be systematic, to make smooth, safe progress. Your success will be our pleasure, but we must work in partnership to achieve it. Show us Commitment, Concentration, and a willingness to learn, and we will help you to achieve the required standard.
