16 Plus Driving (Off Road)

This is a Driving "Sampler" for prospective drivers (Minimum Age 16 years), where they can be introduced to the basics of Car Control in a safe Off-Road Environment.

Standard Driving Course

This course will take you from Novice to Test Standard. The Driving Standards Agency recommends a minimum of 40 hours formal instruction and as much private practice as possible to achieve the required Test Standard, but it is dependant on the ability of the individual as to how long it will take any one person to learn to drive.

The main requirements are a sense of commitment and willingness to learn. Each student is regularly assessed by their instructor to monitor improvement, and you will receive help and guidance with sitting the Theory Test, which must be passed before you will be allowed to apply for your practical Driving Test.

We require each student to pass our own rigorous Driving Check Test before applying for the Practical Driving Test. It is a very thorough process !

      Pass Plus   

"Pass Plus" is for the young and new driver, and should be completed within the first year after passing the Practical Driving Test. It is based on a minimum of Six hours instruction in Positive Driving Techniques, covering the following topics:

• Town Driving
• All Weather driving
• Out of Town Driving and Rural Roads
• Night Driving
• Dual Carriageways
• Motorways

There is no test as such, it is an assessment of ability by the Instructor, and once completed, may help to reduce Insurance Premiums !
